July 20, Cat Silly photos - Silly cats

Need some cheer? Take a look at the silly images presented here chat. They will certainly make you smile.

Cats are funny creatures. Despite their innate elegance and sophistication, they have a side stupid. They make unannounced faces, they are easily disturbed by the sudden appearance of a fly, they hit hilarious poses and they make fools of themselves very easily (of course, they will never admit that). Silly cats are just an inexhaustible source of entertainment.

July 23, a Feral Kitty

Bitty Boo

Lovely Kitty

Beautiful Kitty

Bitty Boo Lovely Kitty

The first time that I have seen it, it was a black and white fuzz ball. 2010 Mid October when I started to see almost every day. It appears out of the blue in our backyard and disappear under the closing of the neighbour. I started to feed the kitty little and his Momma I named (Big Momma) a cat wild tuxedo. I decided to call the little "itty Bitty Boo" kitty because it was so little and it has always hidden, and then it could reappear.

Name of Itty Bitty finally got shortened to Boo Bitty. It is black and white and black spots on its whiskers that it look like it has a black moustache or a black smile "happy face"! I fell love with her because of her smile and eyes. They are like an aqua blue. I discovered that it is a party Siamese too.

I'm starting to hand feed his treats for its use for me and was finished by him, she takes a stray/feral program catch and had its beating sterilized and tested for feline leukemia, etc.. I learned that she was very healthy.

It is our third rescue kitty and is very smart. Bitty Boo becomes more socialized and adapt very well to be an interior kitty!

Wild kittens can be tame and trained if you get enough young and give them tender care, patience and love!

Thank you
Nancy J.

The Short Haired Tortoiseshell Cat

The Short Haired Tortoiseshell Cat(The books I publish are always proof read and corrected before publishing on Kindle! David Snode)

Among animals possibly the most perfect, and certainly
the most domestic, is the Cat. I did not think so always,
having had a bias against it, and was some time coming
to this belief; nevertheless, such is the fact. It is a
veritable part of our household, and is both useful, quiet,
affectionate, and ornamental. The small or large dog
may be regarded and petted, but is generally useless ; the
Cat, a pet or not, is of service. Were it not for our Cats,
rats and mice would overrun our house, buildings, cul-
tivated and other lands. If there were not millions of
Cats, there would be billions of vermin.

Since the foundation of the National Cat Club,
followed by the Cat Club and the British Cat Club, of
course cats have attained a more important position than
they formerly held, and not only are they raised in
popular favor, but have greatly increased in value, so
that specimens of sufficient quality to win prizes in their classes readily find purchasers at remunerative prices, and
I know of many persons, of both sexes, who keep well-
filled catteries to supply the demand created by the
shows.

In the early days, I should say long-haired cats were
decidedly in the minority, but for some years past I
expect for exhibition purposes more of the long-haired
have been bred than of the short-haired.
I have not the slightest doubt there are hundreds, if
not thousands, of cats running about the country quite
good enough to win prizes at shows, and to sell for sub-
stantial figures if their owners knew their value.
This I have proved on more than one occasion by
picking up specimens at different times in most unlikely
places, with which I have taken prizes at some of our best
shows.

IT has been suggested to me by many of my "catty"
friends that I should write a small handbook for cat
fanciers. I have had many years' ex-
perience with cats and kittens, and have also a real love
for them, without which I do not believe any one can be a
successful breeder and exhibitor of cats. What is worth
doing at all is worth doing well, and to combine profit with
pleasure is a most desirable end to have in view. The
object, therefore, of this little book is to assist cat lovers to
become cat fanciers. I trust that it may be found helpful
and instructive.

Here you will find a description of your cat along with judging standards and points, if you wish to show your cat.

BONUS 1

You also get an entire book on care and diseases of cats and their cures. At the end of this book are more comparative judging points.

BONUS 2

Also included is a several page essay on the care of kittens.

BONUS 3

In addition you receive this cool little book on the zoological position of the cat family, with a descriptive list of the various feline species around the world. The second chapter describes the anatomy of the typical housecat.

BONUS 4

The final bonus is a book with some quotes and cat stories. Very interesting and amusing.

This is a must have for all cat lovers and fanciers.

Tabby Cat and Tabby kitten cat colors and information

Patterns are a mixture of colors in a definitive arrangement. The six fundamental types of coat patterns present in cats with some differences are Tabby, tortoiseshell, solid, Bicolor, Tricolor and Colorpoint.
1. Tabby: this standard coat is found naturally the most widespread and is present in four varieties: blotched (URU), distributed (sarda), ticked (agouti) and spotted.
2. tortoise: a mixture of black and orange or diluted shades of blue and cream unwavering make up this unique coat pattern. This pattern of coat is a tricolor this almost exclusively in women with a mixture of Orange and black. Male cats rarely show this pattern and are likely sterile. These cats also show a default internal tabby named as "torbie".
3. Solid: this pattern is the easiest and identifiable, since it consists of a single coat evenly distributed throughout the body. An interesting pattern solid with different color hair is seen in young cats. Secondary colored hair disappears as the cat grows and very soon, the cat presents a solid standard hairy all over. Unable to recognize a cat that has a few other colors in your coat, as a solid. People usually refer to cats with a solid default to "auto" or "auto".
4. Bicolor bicolor: the word is actually a white coat color with another color. Other colors displays a tabby or a standard solid. People commonly describe a cat with a white coat color as a Harlequin. "Van" is the term that describes a final variation in which the feline is colored white with spots of color present only on the tail and head. Names are given to white patches present in a cat bicolor, which express their positions as gloves (paws), Medallion (chest) and buttons (patches on the abdomen).
5. Colorpoint: legs, face and tail (points/tips) are dark in color compared to the rest of the body in this pattern of the coat. The colorpoint pattern depends mainly on the temperature. The hottest parts of the body show a light color and vice versa. The dissimilarity between the color of the main body and the spots are different, but this pattern of coat is very easily recognizable. Vacancies are present in varying shades and colors containing red (flame), Brown (seal), lilac and blue. In some varieties, in General, the spots have a default tabby or a tricolor pattern containing the colors mentioned above. "Lynx" is the term used to describe colorpoints have a tabby pattern.
6. Tricolor: the primary color components of the tricolour coat patterns are black, white, orange and red or diluted shades of blue and cream. The proportion of white colors and displays the number and position of the tones of two additional colors. If there is some amount of white, the other two colors can combine to form a pattern known as a "tortoiseshell and white". Patches of red and black become noticeably distinct, as increases in white color. Cheetah is the term used for this type of flooring pattern in cats.

"Tortitude"-the unique personality of tortoiseshell cats

Tortoiseshell Cat
Turtle cats are named for their distinctive colour-a combination of patches of black, Brown, amber, red, cinnamon and chocolate.  The size of the patches varies from a spotted pattern very well to large areas of color.  The term "turtle" is used for cats with brindled coats that have few or no white markings.  Cats of this coloration with the largest areas of white fur are called Siamese. Sometimes these colors present in lighter versions such as lilac or cream.  Torties with this lighter staining is called dilute torties.  Occasionally, the typical colours tortoise are also seen in a standard (striped) tabby, and these cats are sometimes called ' torbies ".
Turtle cats are almost exclusively female.  Tortoiseshell and Calico coats are the result of the interaction between genetic factors and development.  The occasional male turtle cat and very rare is the result of a genetic mutation.
In addition to its distinctive colouration, torties also have a reputation for unique personalities, sometimes called "tortitude".  They tend to be a little heated temperamanto, willpower, and they can be very possessive of her man.  Other words used to describe torties are fiercely independent, resolute and unpredictable.  They are usually very talkative and make their presence and needs known with anything from a ping to a Meow to a strong purr.  These characteristics are the strongest turtle in cats than in Siamese-it seems that these traits are diluted somewhat with the addition of more white to the color scheme.
You have a tortie or Calico in your life?  She has "tortitude"?

The cat of tortoise-why they call them like that?

A cat of turtle has what is called a brindled color, type of confusion of many different colors, not unlike the shell of a turtle. A real turtle has no white in colouring, although some people still may refer to any confusion colorful, striped cat as a turtle (tortie). That is not completely accurate, however.
What distinguishes a tortie (Tortoiseshell cat) of a cat tortoiseshell torbie or tabby is that true tortie has the color black as its main colour, we know, can get awfully confusing, at times, and the fact that torbies used to be called reverse torties makes it even more confusing.
If a cat has any white in colouring, even if they have a mix of all colors (black, Brown, tan, red, amber, chocolate, cinnamon, etc.) they are referred to as a cat Cheetah. Siamese often will have a lot of colors in their skins, especially on their backs or in its top and the white band is often on the belly, if you see a white belly on a cat, is certainly a Cheetah.
Now you can impress your friends with your knowledge to the minutiae of the cat world, if they are wrong, correct them and do it with a noble look on your face, you're right, they are wrong, loads of fun. We're just kidding of course, there is no set of rules of the cat world, these are only accepted the guidelines.
And this idea of guidelines extends to the personalities of the cats too. Many people believe that there are no hard and fast rules the personality and behavior that a cat will be like, but that is not necessarily always the case, there are a number of myths out there.
Certain types of cats have a reputation for being a certain personality wise way, but in each case, although individual personalities will vary from cat to cat. Cats are much as people in many ways, there are large traits of personalities, but every individual is unique. That's probably why we bond so well with our cats, they remind us of ourselves, in some respects.
In general the turtle cats are thought to be creatures very opinionated and a little distant, acting out their lives as if they were above all. They tend to be strong willed cats, unpredictable and independent, a true "cat cat", if you will. But, as mentioned at the beginning that this is just a broad orientation does not always hold true completely. All cats have their own inherent qualities.

My name is Kevin Highfill. Visit my http://www.online4pets.com/ site to find out more information about turtle cats.

Calico cats-the beautiful felines Tricolor

Calico cats are known for their beautiful coats, tapestry, tricolor. But what makes a cat, a cat calico? Firstly, Calico is not a race and there is a color too. Chita is a standard color. To be a true Calico cat, coating must have mostly white, which is the predominant color, and then he must have distinct patches of Orange and black. A Cheetah boasting these colors is said to be a non-dilute Calico. On the other hand, a diluted Calico coat will have a white, cream and blue (something like a bluish gray). Washed colors are caused by dilution gene.
Talking about genes, calicos are mostly women. The cause of this lies in the X chromosome, which contains the code responsible for hair coloring in cats. The Y chromosome, on the other hand, does not contain any code associated with color. now, two x chromosomes are needed to produce a Cheetah. Cats males have a set of XY while female cats have a set of XX, for most Siamese happen to be female. However, although rare, there are male calicos. Generally, these male calicos are sterile.
Interestingly enough, many people confuse with Siamese cats of turtle. At first glance, it may appear, but not them. The main difference is that the turtle cats have very little or no white fur. Some people confuse the two because some tortoiseshells have white fur more than usual, but this is mostly mixed with other colors. By the way, that is the other significant difference-the two other colors are also mixed. Unlike tortoise, Siamese cats have three separate color, white spots, the most prominent.

Your cat is constantly sneezing?

If your cat sneezes often, or if you have a kitten sneeze a lot, it can come from a number of reasons. Your feline companion little likes being the nose in every small beak and crook and can get your nasal passages blocked. With your cat constantly sneezing, is difficult to make a sound diagnosis based on their symptoms. When a cat sneezes often, this behavior may be the result of nasal discharge and runny eyes. If caused by viral infection, nasal blockage or untreated, the condition may worsen and lead to more extreme illness.
So, what do you do when your cat remains sneeze? Of course, you can fight Fluffy into a container, make an appointment with the vet and watch in misery as your cat is bitten and volley, x-rayed and manipulated, while seeing the mistrust and the pain in her eyes if your cat keeps sneezing. You can almost hear your thought, "why are you doing this to me? I love you. I trusted you! "
Aside from the mental stress and emotional debris collected about you and your cat, vet's Bill, which can easily perform several hundreds of dollars. I know, I spent $ 600 on two weeks trying to heal nasal discharge of my cat, without success. And the vet basically is doing a best estimate to make their diagnosis of sneezing cat.
I finally found a company that specializes in natural, homeopathic cures and remedies for pets. For a fraction of the cost of a veterinarian, I was able to stop my cat sneezing constantly. It is safe even if you have a kitten sneezing a lot. If your cat sneezes often, perhaps you would enjoy this natural healing well.
Especially when dealing with young cubs, older cats and pregnant Queens, with regular vaccines can be daunting, even fatal. Your immune system is weak, and this makes them susceptible to strong medicines. Natural remedies, non-chemical have been proven to be extremely effective to cure these cats with weaker immune systems without putting them at risk of vaccines.
When your cat frequently sneezes, or displays other symptoms of sneezing cat, he is asking for help. It cannot lead to the drug store and securing, until you reach it. If you have a cat sneezing constantly, he can benefit from a holistic and natural remedy. I was in the same boat you are, and I know who worked for Shorty McGee, my turtle 8 year old and my Pocket! She is living proof of the effectiveness of natural, homeopathic remedies for pets.

Your guide to cat breeds

In the early years of 8,000 of its relationship with humans, cats pretty much took care of his own creation. People kept them for a purpose-rodent hunting-and they already are perfectly designed for this. More than 100 years ago, however, we started to play systematically cats to appeal to our aesthetic tastes. Hair length, color, pattern of coat, as well as head and leg proportions contribute to the "appearance" of specific breeds.
Look enough cat bodies and faces, and you'll see two distinct types.
Faces are triangular or rounded. Organisms that are skinny and lanky belong to the Oriental breeds, or foreign agile. Short legs and support a comprehensive, compact body are characteristic of a "cobby". Mixed breeds usually have a body "in between" type.
There are over 70 distinct breeds of cats that are recognized by formal cat records. Some records recognize only about 40 races, because they exclude those who, like the Bengals that are hybrids of wild and domestic cats. Some "races" are simply variations of main types. For example, a cat of Balinese is one more type of Siamese cat hair.
Some breeds have roots that go back in history. Japanese Bobtail, distinguished by a short tail like rabbit, can be tracked more than 1,000 years. The Egyptian Mau cat keeps the physical characteristics of the ancient Egyptian cats found in old paintings.
With a sleek body randomly spotted, banded legs and tail, eyes communicative and a distance of Chita, as ellegant, it is no wonder that the Mau attracts a huge amount of attention at concerts.
Other races reflect new aesthetic. Ocicats and Savannah cats are wild-hybrids-the result of breeding with feral cats domestic cats-that fill a desire for some cat lovers have a pet "savages". The Cornish Rex, with its soft, wavy coat and moustache coils, is a dramatic contrast and visual to the typical smooth-coated cat. Similarly, the Sphynx cat "naked" is a breed of cat fancier esoteric.
Because the Sphynx cat has little hair, the cat should be washed periodically. This is an easy task with a cat that has been accustomed to a bath from kittenhood.
Sometimes cats are just "ordinary cats." "Home" is the term used to classify veterinary cats of unknown heritage. Cats in these categories are divided into groups as domestic short hair (DSH), long hair on the domestic market (DLH) and medium length hair national (DMH). Some people consider the cats based on circumstances of life. House cat or alley cat, but these are not breeds true.
Hair length and texture contribute to look "of the breed", but the color is not a factor in the trusted identity. Black cats with white paws, belly and chests are referred to as "Tuxedo" cats, but this is simply a description of the coat pattern found in domestic breeds and "exotic". Tortoiseshell and Calico cats coated sometimes are referred to as "ginger", "marmalade", or "Orange tabby" cats, making them sound like specific breeds. In reality, they are merely descriptors, as well as the "Green-Eyed Asian" or "brown-eyed." While it is true that some cat breeds only come in a hue (Russian Blues and Korats only show gray) most breeds exhibit a range of coat color and pattern.
